Technical and Academic Courses

Study Skills and Critical Thinking

This course helps you become an objective learner, improving your questioning, critical thinking, planning, and presentation skills. You’ll also gain practical techniques for research, reading, writing, and discussion—valuable for students and beyond.
Academic Presentation and Discussion

Level: Intermediate to Advanced.
Students will learn and develop practical competence in several styles of spoken English: to inform, persuade, narrate, demonstrate, and build support.
English Writing Fundamentals
Where: Workplace, On-site, Private, Hybrid or Online.
Level: Intermediate to Advanced.
This course builds essential English communication skills for the modern workplace, covering letter, email, memo, and report writing, along with grammar and sentence structure. Participants will read business texts and receive feedback on their writing.
Graduate Research Writing
Where: Workplace, On-site, Private, Hybrid or Online.
Level: Advanced.
This course aims to improve an advanced-level school student, undergraduate, or graduate student’s writing, with a particular emphasis on advanced academic skills (e.g. thesis development, reviewing literature, presenting results/data and applied discussion.
Idiomatic English
Where: Workplace, On-site, Private, Hybrid or Online.
Level: Intermediate to Advanced.
This course is designed to develop a wide-range of common English expressions used in everyday conversations. Learners will emerge from this course with an improved ability to use English idioms and to sound more native-like and natural during conversations. The idiomatic language covered will be varied, topic-based and useful in both professional and social settings. Everyone loves it when you drop an idiom in your second language!
English through Literature
Where: Workplace, On-site, Private, Hybrid or Online.
Level: Intermediate to Advanced.
This course offers a personal and collaborative exploration of literature in English. Participants will enjoy 19th and early 20th-century short stories, alongside selected modern works. Key texts from classic novels will also be analyzed, with in-class readings and audio transcripts. You’ll have the chance to share opinions and discuss vocabulary, phrases, and expressions.
